Jeff McKaughan is the author and analyst for Teal Group's Defense & Aerospace Agencies Briefing, a tool for analyzing the trends, budgets,and major projects of 40 major U.S. defense agencies and selected civilian agencies.
He is currently the editor of Military Aerospace Technology and Military Medical Technology magazines, both published by Kerrigan Media of Rockville, MD. He is responsible for material selection, writing, and coordinating with authors for both magazines.
Before joining Teal Group and Kerrigan Media, he owned (and still does) Darlington Productions, a defense information publishing company publishing Journal of Military Ordnance magazine and book titles focusing on land warfare and equipment. Darlington Productions currently publishes about 3-4 land warfare book titles per year. Earlier he spent 10 years in the airline industry serving in various management positions with several airlines, including 3 start up carriers. He earned a B.A. from Frostburg State College, where he studied political science and history.
